project 8806 work in progress

So i got this very nice raleigh light weight 8806 frame in the post today ive been after one for ages as ive nearly finished my gt rave just need a front brake caliper with a bigger drop than 49mm and thats sorted i think this new frame needs to go down the shimano 105 group set route what do you chaps think.

cheers im not sure that ill put mud guards on it tho which reminds me i need a shimano bottom bracket for this frame can anyone tell me what length of BB axle i need to go with a 90's shimano 105 double chain set.

So i got back off me honeymoon and i had a big pile of bits waiting for me
as this was a frame set from 1987 ive set myself the task of collecting bits to go on it from 3 years ether side of 87 so 85 to 90 as it came with a shimano 105 headset ive tried to stick to that except the bars and stem which are cinelli and yes i know the wheels are modern mach 1s with shimano hubs.
