Old School Hero
This is my new build, a Cannondale Six13 Team Lampre Caffita from 2006.

Saw the frame and couldn't resist, stripped my Cannondale R500 and then built this.

Nice ride.

Even though they've had a shocking season, you have to love them

I really hope the guy in the first picture isn't the previous owner!!

I think I saw him at the Tour this year but in another team's kit. Once seen (even if only in a photo), never forgotten.

That's amazing. What kit?

I for one think it's disappointing that he's not wearing either a matching team cap or a pair of crisp white sidis in the above photo

I really like the bike, just two things.

Is that a charge saddle? Deserves something a bit flasher, say a flite?

And, are they reflectors I see on your wheels... ;) :D

Thanks, it's gone together really well, my starting point was just the frame, no bearings, forks, bars or anything. It also rides really well too, hills feel less of a challenge now.

As for your points....

The charge is for comfort, you don't see it when sat on it. I am a charge convert, got one on my mountain bike too.

And the reflectors are a winter fit, given the dark and the severe lack of sunshine in Lancashire!
