This isn't strictly a proper road bike but it now serves as a TT bike so I thought I might create a thread here.

Lighter, faster, stronger. :D

I am currently waiting on a 10spd 105 front mech. The original XTR M900 front mech doesn't like 10 speed chains very much. I'm also wondering if the 9 speed chainset isn't to happy with the 10 speed chain either...so that might have to have new rings. I fancy some CF Planet X wheels as well for that full on stealth weapon look. :D

The original build thread can be found here; http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=134773

Outland cheapo clipons.

Not super light, but tough and rock steady.
I like them because they fit under the main bar and have lots of adjustment.
The handlebar is a Profile Airwing (trimmed).

I got one of these (in black £18!) on Tuesday and it has solved my front shifting issues :D...well it does now I've opened the cage up a bit ;)

I got the Triple as I assumed it had a slightly longer reach and the extra meat on the inner cage looks good :D.

Like the bridge that you have on the back for attaching the road brakes - can I ask who makes & where you got it please?

Looks much better now, and I didn't think I'd be saying that

Maybe you should introduce it to a nice carbon fork ;)
And some red bolts and other small parts might make the shifters look less lonely.
