Just picked up this little beauty from Hilary Stone. Will fully restore as a fixed gear in a high gloss midnight blue or deep burgundy. Decals on order from H Lloyds and already picked up a nice Williams C1200 chainset to go on it. Gonna stick as far as possible with vintage parts but not sure I can resist a pair of Ghisallo wooden rims.
I think what Cooper Technica did with this one is just simple, beautiful elegance: http://www.coopertechnica.com/1952-Gill ... icycle.php
Will post pics once she's done!
By the way - on the lookout for more vintage parts; hubs (high flange 32front 40 rear for 120mm rear dropout width), seatpost, stem, bars and pedals. Please PM me if you have any goodies or trinkets for sale.
Cheers,
Tubby Geoff
