I've just split a 1978 Peugeot as frame was damaged, Simplex kit here waiting :wink:

I have a selle royal saddle and a spidel seat post going on. Both really good condition. The CX is off a 1981 Bike.

Nice project ...again. I am not very familiar with the Peugeots (or other French bikes and components) of this era and the problem is that when I encounter them on local classified sites I have difficulties telling them apart. I have a trained eye for Dutch, Japanese and Campagnolo. Of course I do know the earlier PY-10 with golden detailing - you made a replica of.

Do you have any idea how many Peugeot built each year? How was Peugeot's position in the marketplace, especially with thoroughbreds like this?
