i brought this old girl off the forum a couple of days ago and i was amazed how nice it was when it arrived.
the photos really do not do it any justice as it does not show how good the paintwork is.all i had to do was regrease the hubs and fit some new cables, tyres, brake and gear levers to suit my own taste and of course i also changed the seat and bar tape at the same time.
all the brightwork needed a clean and the mudgaurds had to go.

well folks what do you think.

That was such a good buy. This forum is a wonderful way to keep these good condition/ older bikes in appreciative hands.

It looks good, how does it fit and ride?
I'd have gone for plain black or tan wall tyres and white bar tape, but that is personal taste and mine is dubious, anyway!

Are they tubulars, or clinchers?

Feel free to post some more pics...

well the bike rides very well and for 70 quid i cant complain.the tyres are bontrager clinchers at 25 quid each (not a planned purchase) and the easton bar tape was only a fiver which considering the brand i thought was a bargain.the aero levers are budget tektro items at 18 quid for the pair.
