Here is my latest and favourite bike todate.

It has a back story that I will get into.

The frame and forks were originally 1980/81 Dave Lloyd time trial set up in Reynolds 531 SL.

This bike is an amalgamation of bikes I would love to own individually, of their flavours embodied into one ride......get where I'm coming from.

The Dave Lloyd f &f are excellent but I did not want this to be a slavish refurb....

I have re stickered it 'TINY'.....my nick name.

The Bikes that I was constantly lasting after and the basis for the influences were

1978 Peugeot PY10 CP
1979 Guerciotti
1983 Motobecane Team Bike
Colnago Mexico

Im a Pug fan - I like the simplicity and frenchness, liked the lugs plus the colour.
Guerciotti... bith showier, nice detailing, liked the gold/chrome metal finish contrasting with the paint work
Moto - means business...loved the 107 Crank
Colnago...still simple and pure but has prescence

Nice looking bike. Lloydy built great frames didn't he? With all that chrome it looks like an Italian frame - perhaps the stickers should have said Piccolo?

There's an eclectic mix of bits on there for sure. Are the chainset and rear mech Zeus?

Mark.

Aah, I see my post has been gazumped.

Yep, sure looks good. I like the black and chrome scheme, very classy.

Mark's suggestion that you could have named it 'Piccolo' is clever - if a little to late sadly.

Who did the decals for you?

Yeah .... Piccolo..

The colour is actually a really dark metallic green.
The photos's do not do it justice.

In the sun it is more radiant.

I will post the spec up and more pics shortly.

The rear mech is Zeus

Thank you for the comments

Sent the F & F to Atlantic Boulevard...where Neill rechromed the head lugs/forks and rear stays. Then a dark green/black metalic paint job

Few more pics

really like the bocam professional long point lugs.

Chose a Grand cru headset from velo orange because of its visual appearnce fitted well with the chrome lugs.

Originally this only had one gear shifter boss and one derailieur cable guide.

Neill brazed on another shifter boss and a campag cable guide so I could put the front mech on.

Kept the original omas bottom bracket.
I like the detail of the cut outs in the shell
