I wondered if they were pre-Nazi eagles. I find that sort of thing fascinating, can't be a lot of it left.

Some more information about this bike: this modell was produced from 1934 to 1950,so it can be even a post-WW II.example. But anyway,it's
sixty years old at least! :roll:

If it's any help at all, the stylisation of that brochure shouts thirties to me. Definite mix of Bauhaus and art deco going on there, which would have been long gone in Germany by the 40's and 50's

Yes,I think you're right.
Searching throughout the net it seems to be most probably an 1938 modell...
