My Sons first road bike

We got this on ebay a while back for my 10year old son, its still a bit big for him but he's still permanently on it. According to the previous owners it was put together by St-Johns Street Cycles about 8/9 years ago.

When we collected it it was immaculate, since then its been scraped a bit, I suspect mainly because my son has plans for me to re-spray it over the winter :?

Anyway, I'm sure you fine folk can shed some light on what the frame is etc...

Nice bike there, I did one recently for my 10yo as well.

Are they 700 or 650 wheels?

St John Cycles usually went under the brand 'Thorn Cycles' but I couldn't tell you any more than that.

Might be worth an email with the frame number?

They are 700 wheels.

I know SJS cycles, we pass there fairly frequently and I have bought stuff from them in the past.

I'm not really interested enough to bother putting them to any trouble to find out about it. No doubt someone on here will have an educated stab at where the frame was sourced

It's too big. He'll end up injuring himself in a way that might not be apparent until he tries to start a family.
