I posted a pic of this Raleigh Arena I found in a hedge a while ago. The general opinion on here was to dump it back in that hedge. But no, sod you all I thought, i'm gonna restore this old girl to her former glory.
And so after spending a few hours with a can of Nitromors and a roll of steel wool and a Black & Decker Mouse she was stripped naked. Now I understood the saying "you can't polish a turd"
I put her back together with a few new bits and gave the bare steel frame a once over with some autosol and i'm rather happy with her.
She's never going to win BOTM but i'm glad I rescued her.
