Introduction:'81 Lotus SuperPro, '83 Raleigh Competition

Hi, Just introducing myself...

I am located in Akron, OH and ride the rail trails and roadways here.
I commute as often as possible 20 miles a day to work.

I started out in college commuting on a basic Centurion Accordo road bike battling traffic through business districts between campus and my apartment.

Purchased a GT AllTerra Timberline and graduated to rapid fire shifters.

I currently have an old 1983 Raleigh Competition 27" that was given to me and I put clipless pedals on it:

And just last year I salvaged a beautiful '81 Lotus Super Pro aka "Aero" from the some guy's trash.
I am currently trying to replace the damaged Araya Aero 1 27" 36h tubular rear rim on it to finish rebuilding it. (That was actually the only thing wrong with it. Otherwise the paint has, like, two teeny chips in it and the tape on the bars needs re-wrapped.)

Here she is all cleaned up and ready to ride with my spare Araya 27 1W's on: (Sorry no photos yet! First post.)

Thanks!

What no love for my beater Raleigh? :>
You did notice the awesome high performance foam grips an cushie gel seat cover right?

The Lotus is Tange Aero tubing. Not sure what grade CrMo.
Dura Ace AX group... wasn't 600 group later?
