Nice project Rod. I may be preaching to converted here but if you use the clamp on front mech be careful tightening it as I had 2 crack at the joint when using them on 531 tubing back in the 80's.

I’ll look out for that, I need to measure but I think the clamp/frame are both 28.6, but seem to recall a ‘French’ clamp that was narrower? Anyway, some bits, looks like I already have black chainring bolts too.

Slowly? Found some Mavic pedals for £20, and realised I have a Mavic post I can use if shimmed, but that now makes me think I have to have a Mavic headset to complete the group too. Hmmmmm.
