Brake cables have to be ribbed! Nice choice. This stuff is getting expensive and harder to find in period colours.

I have the same shade on a 1951 Sun Super Vitesse. A good choice.

Lovely.

I said this would be a labour of love and I think I was right.

I will concede I was wrong about the rims though.

Spoke to an old boy I know about these and he thinks they are the correct ones for the bike and the period.

Fitted the outer cables, adjusted the position of the brake levers, fitted a handlebar bottle cage (60s I think?) and a Adie bell.

I fitted the bell to the inside of the handlebars as I've seen them fitted in this position before and the top of the bars is a bit busy with the bottle cage.
