A customer dropped in two years ago with a bike to restore. I had it painted and all the parts have been polished and the customer dropped of the face of the earth so I have started assmebling.

The frame is 531 or 501 steel and is my size how fortunate. The shifters, mechs and chainset parts are 105 golden arrow, the brake levers and brake are wienmann and the wheels are from a clubmate with tubular rims and campag hubs. The freewheel is a perfect 13-18T micro 6 speed. The original wheels are narrow clinchers but the rear rim is starting to split at the sleeve join. I think a 27mm paris roubaix tubular looks right on this bike. I dont think I can sell it. I will just have to keep it and ride until man who has dropped of the face of the earth drops in one day.
