It's 7700 Dura Ace on those ONCE 96 Tour bikes. Shimano gave the new 9 speed groups to the teams in 1996 before releasing to the public in 1997.

Yes you are correct - it was a DA 7700 - you can see the right 9-speed ST-7700 shifter here on Alex's bike from TdF 1996

Thank you very much @fivethumbs for this info ...
... that avoids an expensive mistake - so I have to look for a Shimano DA 7700 series instead of a DA 7410

Trying to make sure that true enthusiasts such as those viewing your excellent build, have a chance to catch my similar although not orthodox (it's built with Campy) KG171 with frame #160.

The auction closes March 14, 2018 at 19:07 PST or GMT -7.

Please have a look. Doesn't come close to the pristine beauty of OP, but this is one you won't mind parading on a Sunday lap around your local haunts.

Black anodized. But on every pics i found, they got mavic prototype (of hélium ?) hub and Grey anodized gp4.
Mine is number 50 and I also have a question : which handlebar is the best period correct : 3ttt due ergopower tdf or 3ttt prima 220 tdf ?
