Feeling kind of smug right now having taken a punt on a bit of an oddity of eBay. Turns out my hunch was correct and it's a 531c SBDU frame!

Parts aren't much to write home about. There's a nice Campagnolo Headset and a decent pair of MA2 rims, the rest are Shimano 500Ex with a RX100 chainset.

It's a little smaller than I'd normally ride at 55cm, but hoping with a lay back post and the right stem I can make it work.

Good looker :). Just out of curiosity what's the frame number?

No problem. Give you any insight? Never had one before so keen to learn!

Originalshinkicker on here has a web page that helps date them, there is also a rough list on the internet of dates for the numbers.

You're not the first person to say that! I'm going to have another go at tweaking it when I'm off work later in the week.

Having just put an offer in on a house I might need to start clearing the garage so it might have to go anyway. (sad face)
