Concorde Flies Again...

Re:

Here's my Astore.

It's boxed up in the basement at present, but could be resurrected at any time without too much work.

I have some matching kit (Mike).

Re: Concorde Flies Again... soon

I remember reading the build thread a while back.... Stonking paint job.

I've got a couple of Brooklyn jerseys that would look great with that.

Signing up too, I've a soft spot for Concordes.

No pressure then lol.

Sunday's kickoff was postponed due to children and a promise of fish for their new tank. I've got a long weekend ahead though so if I'm sufficiently disciplined I might get most of the way there by Monday night.

I might do the down tube shifter upgrade from 9 to 10 speed tonight after dinner.

Still got yours?

I do, in fact I was just looking at it today. Looks great, rides.....ok. I'm afraid I'm smitten with my modern bike and it doesn't get ridden much/at all.

Well, as long as it's safe, you can get around to riding it again when the time is right.

Re: Concorde Flies Again... soon

I hate to see a good bike prematurely retired.... Especially if I can't actually see it! Show us said Concorde, Kaiser.

Hopefully the link works.

That's lovely.

Looks about my size too, so if you ever want to let her come out of retirement... :)
