My first build: Rider Columbus SLX, crazy 90's colors..

Re:

Hey Adwo,

Good news: Just finished my custom build of the exact same frame and it looks awesome!
Bad news: My frame is a 55cm and it's unfortunately a tad too large :/

Curious to know what size frame you have? Does it fix you perfectly? If not let's trade! :D

Drew

Hey Drew,

Good to hear you finished the build! I will measure the frame tomorrow and get back to you.

Got any pics?

Cheers,

Adwo

Here it is! Sorry about the quality. The website doesn't allow for any files over 512KB to be uploaded.

I went with a single speed track set up and am really happy with how it turned out. This frame is so awesome. Specs below:

Profile Design Airwing bar
Cinelli stem
Fizik Arione saddle
Alex Rim wheels
Campy cranks, headset and seat post
Shimano BB
48t chainring
17t White Industries freewheel
FSA brakes
Shimano BB

Awesome looking bike Adwo as those colours really do pop  ..

I totally agree!

But I'm playing around with the idea of putting all parts on a vintage Klein frame..

That would be a real shame stripping the Rider of all it's parts but i'm a real sucker for seeing a vintage Klein frameset all fitted up nicely ..

I love the colours but I have always prefered either the later frames with shaped tubes, or the earlier frames with lugs.
