Topic title explains it all, really - my L&M "Stardrive" crankset has been creaking for some time now so I suspect that either the tapers are iffy or the crank/spider interface is past its best. As such, I'm looking to buy a like-for-like replacement as the rings are quite new and still have plenty of miles left in them; 110mm BCD moutain bike chainset that would easily convert to a road double (e.g. Middleburn) also considered. Cranks must fit a Shimano-taper rather than Campag-taper square BB spindle.
Drop me a line if you've something at a reasonable price that may suit; can collect in local area, otherwise happy to pay 1st Class P&P in UK.

Thanks in advance for replies.

I've got a FSA 50/34 road compact chainset with a square taper gathering dust at the moment.

It's probably done about 500 miles at the most, 175 cranks.

Can do some pic's if you're interested?
