I wish to sell my Raleigh Quadra Series II 54.5 cm bike. It has 531 frame and forks, Shimano 105 groupset, 14 speed SIS,Biopace chainset,105 SLR brakes and 105 hubs.

It is in excellent condition with approx 900 miles from new in 1988 and has had upgrades as follows

Cinelli 66-44 handlebars and Cinelli XA stem with blue matching bar tape
Mavic MA2 rims
(Original bars, stem and tape will be included) also as new mudguards
Price £150 plus £25 postage within UK

For me this is the epitome of retro! I recall seeing this bike in the Raleigh catalogue you have a picture of there when it was new and far dearer than I could afford at the time.

Really nice to see this example in very nice condition. Thanks for sharing, hell I might even buy it from you if you can wait for my slow paced world to catch up...

If only this was bigger! I had an original ver 1 back in the day, in fact I had two as one got nicked! But I loved that bike and rode it all year round. I stupidly sold it to buy cigarettes or booze or something. The folly of youth. But, if anyone has one sized 58cm or 59cm I'd be interested, even just the frameset....good luck with the sale though!
