I've had these wheels for a couple of years now, but with an ever increasing fleet of mountain bike projects and a finite amount of space, I've decided to let them go.

The wheels are built using black Ringle Bubba Hubz (road spacing) in as new condition and Campagnolo Omega Hardox rims for tubular tyres, the front is radially laced. They are in superb condition, front rim shows almost no wear and the rear only a slight amount to the anodising. The wheels could be fitted with a 6/7/8 speed freewheel, or a HED chainline fixer and single cog for some very bling ss wheels.

The only negative I can say about these wheels is that one of the axle spacers was misplaced at some point in their life so I have had a new one machined by retrobike's own Ringle Guru, elite504. This could pass as a factory part, but instead of being black like the rest of the hub it is naked alu.

OK, I'll take £150 for these beauties.......... Surely road wheels don't get cooler than this?

I love these wheels but for me personally and perhaps others too. They are too modern in styling for a classic roadbike and yet too retro with the screw on cassette for a modern machine. They would be great on an american built retro road bike such as a chris chance or ritchey perhaps but for my colnago and I would guess most other european buids they are just not right.

Also I guess that not being clinchers limits your buyers a wee bit too. I'm sure they'd find a good home if you put them on the bay for £150 BIN with an option to make offers.

Best of luck. :D
