I think it should have a frame number starting with SB if it was a real one.

And what does he mean by it having a Carlton head badge? It's obviously a Raleigh one which seems to be a transfer not a badge.

To doubtful at that price for me.

looks like a Carlton Catalina frame I had with the wrap around stays - dont know of any ti-raliegh in that colour scheme that had that design

old frame new paint/ decals, poss not even 531

Wrap round stays not, I think, commonly 531. I'd have expected to see a "W" prefix (Raleigh cont'd to use W for Worksop well after that site closed).

A bitsa maybe. I wouldn't have paid that for it when I was into big wheelers and drops!

The BB shell is stamped Made in Italy where exactly were Raleighs made?

it may be a cast Cinelli bottom bracket shell
