Thanks chaps! The seller was a real gent and I will try and look after it. I will start a thread soon about my efforts (forth coming) to try and better my very feeble ten time.

I have a feeling I will soon be on first name terms with the local back specialists!

Good luck with it! You should improve your times on it, it is a very nice bike. I was very tempted myself!!

But get yourself a spoked front wheel :wink:

I think I am going to speed up my Gazelle lo pro project. I will leave the 50th untouched for another project and go with a more aerodynamic kit consisting of c-R and Chorus instead.

@Old Ned
What would be more or less the normal length for a stem on a TT bike?

Today or tomorrow I will be putting Koga RecordPro 'rolling chassis' up :)

About the same length as a piece of string.

In other words, it depends on the frame size, frame angles, top tube length, riders height, arm length etc. and is very much an individual thing.

However, for my height etc. (5'10" approx.) I generally use a 12cm but I have 14cm on a couple of bikes and a 10cm on another.

Okay, sorry. I thought it was you who commented that a TT uses a shorter stem ...but it wasn't you. It was even another forums.
