Offering beautifull Colnago Duall cyclocross frame with stuff. In my opinion together with the lo pros the coolest among the Colnagos. Decided to stay with one crossbike. Beloved Swisscross I have for already a while stays, Colnago out.

The Duall is made by Alan. Multiple characteristics seperate it from the Alans, for example the twin downtube, many Colnago engravings and the less odd 27.2mm seatpost diameter.

The particular Duall I am offering is missing its original bonded fork. A bummer you could think, but if you want to really ride this bike you want the fork that is in it now. The replacement is a quality steel fork (531 tubing, Cinelli crown, Columbus dropouts) and offers more steering precision and durability.

Condition: Used frame, so expect marks from usage. There a many little scratches present on frame, but due to the kind of finish they are not really well visable. What is good :) The forks is painted to match, but paint is chipped at many places. Would consider a repaint, now or maybe for next winter. The decals on the toptube are in not so good condition anymore. Other decals are better, but decal on left side of the 'downtube' fails the 'o' in Colnago.

I am not only offering the frame. The package deal includes some parts as well to help you with the build:
- 105 headset
- super smooth XT un71 bottom bracket, Italian and correct width
- good pair of cross wheels: 105 hubs laced using 2x 36 Hoshi spokes to Mavic open CD/SUP rims
- little bits for canti

Looking for 200GBP

Optional: 600 Ultegra cranks, 600 Ultegra rear mech and STX cantis - add 20GBP ...and I could possibly help you out with more parts that could contribute to your build.

Whilst it is certainly a beautiful frame, I doubt that it would be stiff enough to be raced and be competitive against modern frames....

Without any doubt Niels Albert would still race satisfactory results on it, but I doubt anyone on here is browsing Retrobike looking for bicycles to be up front in serious competition.

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, I'm not knocking your frame at all, it would make a classy and rare retro ride. I was referring to Mike's post that this frame should be built up and raced.

The guy who wins Lincs League races usually wins by about 2.5 minutes. He could win on a shopping trolley if he had one!

It's a shame when such a beautiful bike doesn't get to compete at the discipline it was designed for. My Fuquay will never win a race (not with me on it anyway) but it loves to be taken out for a muddy sweaty thrash every weekend.
