A bit pricey, especially with that load of mixed bag components. Neither one thing not the other, retro nor modern.

His 'speil' describing the bike is a bit 'flowery'. Not sure if he really knows what he's on about.

Wonderful frame but an odd mix of components? Those Huret Duopar Eco derailleurs were horrible pressed steel jobs, but worked well enough.
I'd have prefered to see it all '70s Nuovo Record/Rally, as a compromise between complementing the frame and practicality.

It is very pretty - but last Carlton (a road/path) I had from that era and with those lugs I sold as a complete fixed for a ton only a couple of years ago. So I think it's a bit on the expensive side!
