Hello from the MTB side of Retrobikes!

I'm looking for two reasonably lightweight geared racing bikes. Retro or modern considered. Neither has to be mint as will both be serviced by me, but no glaring faults please!

One for a 5 foot 1" lady, white or lilac colour, suitable for single speed conversion / modernisation

The other is for a 6 foot gent, any colour considered, 58cm I reckon

£200 absolute max each

PM me anything suitable please!

many thanks, Alex

do you actually mean racing bikes as in road racer, ie stripped down/no-mudguards/micro section wheels etc, or in the generic dropped bar road bike = racing bike sense? I have a mate who is wanting rid of a touring bike your size well within budget.

Have a look at the Raleigh Stratos in the centre of this picture, sorry its the only photo I have of it at present.
Complete with guards, Dynamo. all there and full working order, it would benefit from new tyres.
The bike is in Leicester but I could meet half way with it ?Buxton.
Price is negotiable, a lot less than £200 though, say £50.
