Sold: 1989 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra frameset.

For sale is a 1989 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra frameset in team Stuttgart colours.

58cm square c-c. Stronglight A9 headset and Campag 115mm BB both in good smooth condition.
The frame is in very good condition. There are a couple of chips, some of which have been touched up, but no dings or scratches. There is also a bit of rubbing on the inside of the non-drive side chainstay. I have tried to show all the marks in the photos. These little areas of damage do not detract from the frameset which really pops in the flesh. The pearlescent white and very vibrant pink do not really show up in the pictures as good as they look in person. The full chrome forks are very good as is the chrome on the dropouts and chainstay. The frame has 130mm rear spacing and takes a 27.2mm seatpost.
