Dawes Discovery 1000 tourer/hybrid

Dawes Discovery 1000 Tourer/Hybrid rolling chassis (as pictured - frame/forks, Stronglight headset, LX wheelset - 32c Hutchinson tyres - HG70, plastic mudguards, front & rear racks & original bar & stem). I was using this as my commuter but it is (and will always be!) too big for me, I've transfered the parts over to my new commuter. Nice brazed frame - most likely 531 (like Tel's Discovery 801 from the same year -the only bike that comes close on internet searching) front & rear rack mounts, plenty of tyre clearance for a wider mudguard & tyre. The wheels are LX front hub, Shimano Silent Clutch rear hub, Mavic rims, DT spokes, HG70 8 speed cassette. This is a flat bar 'Hybrid' but there is no reason why you couldn't drop bar it.

-Seat Tube 49c-c (54 c-t)
-Top Tube 565 c-c (sloping TT so effective slightly more)
-Headtube 13cm
-1" headset (22.2 stem), steerer tube roughly 175cm
-68mm BB
-135mm rear spacing
-Canti-mounts
- 27.2 seat tube for 28.6mm FD

It's TIG welded so unlikely to be 531.
