Dura Ace 7402/7400 hubs, Mavic 280 G.E.L Rim, Dura Ace Cas

trombone

Retro Newbie
Hello All,

I have a pair of Dura Ace hubs. The front a 7400 in good condition with some slight marking where spokes have been through in the past. The rear hub is a 7402 with an 8 speed cassette in excellent condition built into the Mavic G.E.L 280 rim. I need to check but I believe it's 32 spoke. Includes a very old Tub too. Originally supplied by Martyn Ashfield Cycles and is in extremely good condition on the whole.

Looking for £80 plus postage for the lot.

Don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards
Tim

Re:

There are no skewer's. However I think I have some generic ones I could include. Will need to check though.

Re:

Damn fine pair of wheels. Those 280 rims are a bit thin but providing you treat them carefully they make for super-quick wheels. The 280 refers to their weight in grams. With most light rims hovering around 400+ grams the 280's have a really noticable advantage when it comes to accelerating. I used a pair for hillclimbs and they were sooooo easy to get moving and keep up the pace on a steep incline.
Have a free bump.......here it is; Bump!

It woul be helpful if you could show any wear on the rim sidewalls. Pretty crucial on such lightweight rims.
