They don't look like C-record brake levers, more like athena or later model chorus. Is the main body metal or plastic?

The body is metal, I have the original receipt for them and I only took the Campagnolo inspection stickers off them for the photo. NOS C record levers are selling for $400 on ebay and original cables are £50-80. Chorus levers have a bare metal clip. C Record are highly finished.

Yeah, your C-Record levers are 100% Athena & they certainly look like plastic to me.
