As it is English threaded it will be for English threaded BB shells but as far as i know MTB sheels are 70mm.....i'd check that out on Google or ask your LBS if that is so....added in you will need a special tool [see the holes] to fit the BB into the shell.

68mm is size of my BB shell :D

Like the one I have at home is 68mm Shimano UN55 square taper BB.

68mm is normal, 73mm is fairly normal and 70mm is unusual (Italian?)

Italian threading is different to English as with Italian threaded BBs are both right hand threaded whereas on an English BB one side is left hand threaded.
