I couldn't resist the quality of this frame, nor the prospect of peeling off the ropey paint to reveal the fully chromed frame beneath.
However reality bites: I'm never going to shoehorn my lanky 6' 3" onto 57cm x 56cm (ctc, st x tt) of Columbus Thron, so it's up for grabs!
Lovely details like the brake bridge and internal cable routing (a tube links the holes in the top tube, unlike cheaper imitations) speak volumes. 130mm at the rear, British BB and for dual-pivot brakes.
Sadly the paintwork with it's lovely mica-pearl varnish is long past it's best and some scratches go through the chrome beneath.
