I'm 99% certain that the 39 is a matt silver finish, I'll go find it later and confirm the last 1% :) I don't think it's a record chainring, but it will fit your cranks no problem at all.

I've just looked at the 39, and it's not what I'd call a matt finish, more like satin, or just unpolished :)

I can compare it to the rings on my 2006 record 10s alloy chainset tomorrow. It's not as shiny as a TA chainring that I have.

Are you looking for matt or shiny?
