Ribble (Terry Dolan), Sante equipped.
Very reluctantly selling my Terry Dolan built Ribble. I've just built this up and ridden it once myself.
Terry Dolan Ribble 531c 55cm square frame + forks. Frame has some marks and scratches but is straight, no rust and looks smart. Very tight geometry.
Rare Shimano Sante groupset (levers, calipers, cranks, rings, hubs, shifters, derrailers).
"Considered by many to be the most beautiful groupsets ever made, it was intermediate in range between 600 Ultegra and Dura Ace. With it's distinctive pearl white finish, this groupset was designed with style and harmony as much as performance in mind. Many of the components featured aerodynamic styling at a time when weight was considered paramount. Shimano Sante debuted many innovations that would become industry standared in years to come."
This was inbetween Dura-ace + Ultegra when it came out. It's mostly white which looks nice with the white f+f.
New Stronglight headset + new sealed bb.
New Zenith 80mm stem.
ITM bars with new Brooks leather bar tape.
New aztec brake pads up front.
New FSA seatpost.
Tatty Rolls saddle.
New cables + outers throughout.
Sante hubs, Mavic open4CD on front, Rigida on rear, the only other change I wanted to make was lace up another open4CD on the rear hub.
I have fitted some xtop levers too as I was planning to ride it around town.
Lovely bike, rides really well with lots of new bits. A rare ish frame and rare grouppo it's a head turner.
Sold without pedals but I have some Shimano 600s I can throw in for a few extra bucks.
