Very nice Raleigh Clubman Lady
21" c-t Reynolds 531 frame, effective top tube 22" c-c. Min top of saddle to floor height of around 34"
Fully serviced & cleaned this is in lovely order throughout with just a couple of minor marks/chips to the paintwork otherwise superb. Has had the addition of a compact chainset to enable easier use on hills.
Components consist of:
Sakae SA 170mm 50/36 compact c/set in immaculate condition, teeth hardly touched. Raleigh chromed steel dust caps are included and in mint condition
SR SP-150 quill pedals in immaculate condition, no play at axles and bearing caps excellent and have been regreased for easy future access (can swap for a new set of double sided spd's)
Tange bottom bracket is super smooth and has been completely stripped, cleaned & copper grease applied on cup threads.
D.I.D. Japanese chain which is in excellent condition and runs quietly.
Campagnolo Band on DT shifters, chrome band is immaculate
Campagnolo Front mech in lovely condition
Suntour 2000 long cage rear mech, used but still in good order, you can utilise up to a 32 tooth rear sprocket if required.
Suntour 13-24 6 speed freewheel, lovely, clean unworn example, spins up smooth & quiet
Weinmann 27" rims on Maillard QR hubs spin lovely and smooth and little wear to braking surfaces. Spokes are galvanised but in good nick & have been polished up a fair amount so a little shiny, the rims have been fully polished up & look very nice. Shod with Michelin Sport tyres in great nick that hold air at 90psi no problem
Very nice Weinmann drilled brake levers, mated to the Weinmann centre pull brakes they bring the bike to a stop in good time with no squealing/binding etc
SR fluted seatpost which is unscratched (Raleigh binder bolt), original brown suede saddle is in nice condition too.
Bars are lovely Sakea Super Champion randonneur style, SR short reach quill steam is also immaculate and all threads regreased.
Bar tape has not being applied as you can have the choice of cream or grey Modolo hi carbon which is a super quality moisture absorbing tape.
If I had to be critical the rear mudguard is a little bent above the reflector but does not however catch on the tyre.
She really is in super order & ready to roll, this will make someone very happy.
