White 853 straight forks 195mm threaded(Swaps?)

Hi All

I have for sale a pair of white powdercoated 853 forks, with a 195mm 1" steerer of which 43mm is threaded, they weigh 644g on my kitchen scales, they have lovely fancy lugs and are in good condition overall with just some scuffing on the paint. (Brake lever not included)

Looking for £60 ono

Now £55 ono £50 ono

From a 853 Claude Butler would be my guess.

@ Dave_mars, No they are definitely forks not a rake

Honestly how do I measure the rake on them please and I will let you know :?:

The rake is the distance between a datum drawn down through the centre of the steerer tube and the centre of the dropouts..

Thanks for that and not very scientifically measured but look to be roughly 45mm would that sound about right :?:

40 0dd mm sticks the rake in road bike territory BITD..........not in twitchy TT bike territory, assuming the head tube angle isn't too steep.

Yes that would be right was definitely not a TT bike, was much more of a criterium / stage racer type frame,
