1985 Raleigh Record sprint.

I think the pictures speak for the bike, these just don’t come up for sale in this condition and size.

It will come with the a gold cassette and the cassette removing tool as well as some amber wall tyres ( If I can find them), and period seat.

I think its a 20” seat tube and 22” top tube c-c.

Have a look here for lots of pictures of the bike.

£225 post.

Thanks Brian.

Good luck with that Brian,

a rare thing, it should be snapped up at that price.

Rk.

Cheers

I should say the rear wheel has been re built using stainless steel spokes and its now lot stronger the originals as they tended to bend or brake (so I’m told).

Someone from here did the work but I can remember who is was.

sprint

really sorry , i need to undibs, i was way out on sizing .. the bike was otherwise perfect.
This would make a perfect L'Eroica ride with a brit feel for a lucky buyer.

Nice to see one that wasn't built for giants

What i was thinking, it looks like my size (52cm), it's a lovely, lovely thing, just very hard to justify at the moment

I have a Record Sprint, and can confirm what a great bike they are. I can't remember seeing one in a sensible size for a long time, mine is a bit big if i'm honest, but I try to ignore this small detail!
