1970s Falcon Olympic plain gauge lugged Reynolds 531 frame
rough but restorable condition
c/w
- no forks but should be pretty easy to find a suitable replacement (1" threaded with 185mm steerer) as 23" is such a common frame size, eg:
http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=184422
- tatty but usable seatpost clamp
- scabby Strong Japan 26.4mm fluted alloy seatpost
- reasonable bottom bracket in there too which I'll remove if you'd prefer!

Seat tube = 58cm c-t
Top tube = 57cm c-c

For the hardcore restorer / fixie builder only as it needs to be blasted and resprayed or powdercoated.
Has slight kink to one of the seatstays but otherwise straight to my untrained but quite experienced eye!

It's been (hand?)painted blue, but you can see Falcon's trademark metallic Azure paintwork underneath and it was "Designed by Ernie Clements" according to the headbadge which looks to have been masked off before horrid paintjob. Has nice wrap around seatstays and horizontal drop-outs c/w removable claw-type mech hanger. The only braze-on (apart from mudguard mountings) is on the chainstay for the rear mech cable, so it needs cable clips / guides for front mech, rear brake, and band-on DT shifters. 120mm OLD so for 5/10 speed (or single!) and would have had centre-pull brakers and 27 x 1 1/4" wheels - I know as I have a few parts from it which I'm going to restore.

If I were to take it on (bit small for me) I'd grind off the few braze ons, powdercoat it and run it fixed :p

Would have looked like this in 1980:

Will email hi-res pics if anyone's interested...

I'm after £10 collected from Chorlton, South Manchester
OR
I'll (reluctantly) post it anywhere in the UK for an extra £15.
