Offering original early 70s RIH frameset/-kit

RIH-Sport, based in Amsterdam, is a builder with a great reputation. The shop was founded in 1921 by the Bustraan bothers. In the early 70s Mr. Van der Kaaij took over the shop and you can still meet him and order fine handbuild custom lugged frames with him on the Westerstraat 150 in the rustic Jordaan quarter in Amsterdam.

RIH frames were raced to Olympic and World titles, 63 in total. RIH supplied frames to for example Peter Post during his race career as well the Dutch National track team.

Finished in tasty and distinctive baby blue with red and blue pinstriping and a lot chrome

Condition
Nice used condition, so great for connaisseur with appreciation for patina. A bit of rust on backside right forkblade and a slight deformation of seatclamp, but fully functional. This frame is very well suited for riding. Besides it is structurally 100%, it rides simply very well. Super for l'eroica kind of events.

It can be acquired with headset and without shifters, guide and mech if you want. 250 GBP shipped than. You would like to use it as single speed or do you have the shift equipment yourself?
