The frame and forks were made in 1974 (I have a copy of the build card) and are still in their original red and gold livery.

At the time, Jackson's sponsored Ian Hallam (who rode a white and red frame) and other riders. As a result, the headtube decals were changed from the normal Bob Jackson crest to the manufacturer's name in vertical lettering as this gave better brand standout in the head-on finishline photos.

The forks are round in profile and the tubing is Columbus.

Dimensions are:
- toptube c-c 57cm
- seatube c-t 61cm
- headtube 19cm

If you ride a road frame with a 56-57cm toptube, you will be fine.

The frame has a brand new Tange headset.

It also comes with another set of chrome forks (not Jacksons) and an appropriate front brake so you can swap between track and road.

The frame has a few marks as you would expect but no dents and I am happy for it to be inspected (SW London) or to send more pictures if you are genuinely interested.

Included in the sale are a copy of the build card (indicating the the frame originally went to the US), a letter from Jacksons regarding the decals and confirming the heritage and also the specially sized allen key for the seatpost binder bolt.

£255 plus postage of your choice.
