Zeus bits

hi des

when you get the rear derailleur, suggest you change the spring for a campagnolo one, it works a lot better, also if you have problems with getting bottom gear the outer casing catches on the spring before it reaches the screw stop, just grind a bit away from the outer casing so that it reaches the screw stop.

this is the result of many years being sponsored by Zeus in the 70's, wonderful stuff especially the alloy freewheels, and the 2000 range.

Thanks for the tip. I'll bear that in mind though I've only got a 49d style Zeus crank so far.
I like one of the aluminium freewheels but not at the current Ebay prices.

I'm not absolutely sure but I think the 5 chainring attachment holes on the Zeus '49D' style cranks are a different pitch to the normal (ie 49d, TA etc.) so check before you buy any new rings.

I had a set once and I seem to remember only the Zeus rings would fit.
