I am currently restoring a Viscount Aerospace and need a 14- 32 5 speed
freewheel to complete the build. I am flexible about the lowest gear and could accept 30/32/34/36 teeth ( a gapped sprocket would be ideal)
If you have anything that might be suitable, in good condition, please contact me. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for your thoughts about the 14-38 freewheel, I already have one of these and don't think that my rear mech will handle such a wide range of gearing. Also the 38 tooth sprocket looks a bit odd to my eyes. The 14-38 dates to 1983, and may have been produced for the early MTB market ? or perhaps Tandems use such extreme gearing ?

I think that the easy solution is to go to 6 speeds 14-32 if I have enough room. At least it will be a lot cheaper than the wide range Suntour freewheel currently on Ebay USA

An Ultra-spaced 6-speed block will fit in the space of a standard 5-speed, and should index acceptably well with 7-speed shifters. Just set the rear mech limit screws so you can't use the 7th click.
