Ahh, you'd have to do your own research there otherwise its 'how long is a piece of string'!

as a rough guide I would say 118mm to 122mm but without seeing whats there its hard to say.

At this moment in time, a Shimano bottom bracket and the drive side shell is refusing to budge. The bike is about 25-30 years old. I think it's a centenary model in shiny black. Steel frame, 200 GS Biopace double chainset with 52, 40 rings, iirc.The owner would like to use the bike but the gearing is a bit harsh for someone over 70.
How long is a piece of string nowadays? Answers only accepted in metric.

Clean engine oil down the seat tube has been my miracle bottom bracket remover these days.
