'Ampello' - Who knows anything about this brand?

Retro Newbie
Bought this beauty 3 years ago.
A person who sells it tells me that it's on Columbus SL tubing. Seattube - 27,2. Also Cinelli lugs. Campy drops. 59 ST. 54 ETT. Backdrops distance - 130, so I guess it's from late 80 early 90?
But can someone tell me an info about Ampello?

The idea was to make it in dura ace 7400 3rd generation.
After 3 years need hubs and stem, still.

Hi, I don't know if you're still interested, but I just learned a bike I just got is also an Ampello and found some stuff about it.
Ampello's are from Belgium, even from a city not far from where I grew up.
I can find very little about them online but will be contacting Ludo Ampe, grandson of Alfons Ampe who started the bike shop where Ampello bicycles came from.

The one I have has SLX tubing, and just like you, Cinelli lugs and Campagnolo dropouts.
The guy who recognised my bike also has what seems to be exactly the same as mine, and says it was custom made to size.
It'll be interesting to see if I can find out more, especially if these were actually hand made here or not.
