Graham Weigh Reynolds 853 Frame/forks - Paul Donohue built

I've built this up and realised that it's marginally too big for me and therefore I can just about justify selling...

It's made from Reynolds 853 'millennium' tubing and comes with a Shimano Dura Ace headset.

The seatpost and BB were stuck in when I received it and I have used the good old caustic soda method to dissolve the aluminium and not affect the steel.

This process was successful, however it's left marks where the paint has lifted. It's ideal for a refurb (repaint or blast and powdercoat) or just build up and use it as is!

Headset top cap is a bit stiff, it does look like it's seen better days so I am leaving for the new buyer to either remove or service themselves.

130mm rear spacing, 27.2mm seatpost, 1" steeer, horizontal dropouts, 57cm from centre of bb to top of seat tube (will confirm later when i'm home).

£150 collected from Oxford. Can post at cost of buyer (approx £15)

Couple of pictures, it's currently built up in fixed gear mode.

Hi, what's the top tube length please?

Is the rear brake cable internal or external?
Hi there,

Top tube = 54cm

Centre of bottom bracket to top of seat post = 57cm

External cable routing for rear brake

Re: Graham Weigh Reynolds 853 Frame/forks

Thanks

Quite a short top tube for a 57cm seat tube frame.

I'll have a think about it, as I normally ride a 56 X 56.

What's the headtube length

The internal measurement of the top tube is 54cm. From end to end it's approximately 60cm.

Headtube between headset cups = 14cm approx

Re: Graham Weigh Reynolds 853 Frame/forks

Sorry I'm getting confused here.

What's the TT length centre to centre, just approx will do, but as its a horizontal TT it will be easy to judge

Sorry :)
