Got this frame off Big Eck

I had an early Mount Vision and always liked this approach to rear suspension so when the opportunity came up to play under the desk swappsies I jumped at the chance.

and some more smoke and mirrors secured these off Jones:

and a pile of 'stuff' - I guess its a case of 'watch this space' but I'm planning a black & white XC based bike, fairly light and Fen friendly. Theres no Down Hill round 'ere:

its a bloody b17, will never be fairly light even without wheels
& groupset

&

the rest

will be fun tho

get it built

(i realise by the time i retune into this post he'll have it built





probably with drops



or slicks





or both

short travel forks on that frame? might have ti run a 20" rear wheel to ballence it out, :D

ha! you thought I hadnt noticed that....


well I did and I have a spare shock from a mount vision that should bring that daft amount of travel back down. :lol:

now it is - opened the box at 2pm, rode it at around 4.40pm and promptly fell off after forgetting to do the stem up... :oops: :lol:


anyway - forks need a wee service but other than that, LX/XT mix of drivetrian and its all happy
