White cranks are a nice touch.

Not too sure about the red cage and pedals.

My wife said the same thing about the pedals and cage, i thought some colour might be nice. Unfortunately i could only get hold of a silver syncros at the price i wanted to pay!!

Something will come up, just give it time. I managed to find a black Syncros for £5 because it was missing its clamp bolts

Yeah, I think that's really good.

I would lose the red though and stick to the black and white theme, including the saddle and stem.

Great to see you're spending the time on this and getting it back to looking good.

What will you be using it for?

Just hacking around on until i can get something more modern, a friend gave it to me because he upgraded so it wont be going anywhere, it will be my retro fix. Hence the syncros stem i always wanted one BITD.

It seems to be the concensus to do away with the red.

I like pickle's idea of a white turbo but i havent seen one of those for a loooong time.
