Ummmm, No, it's the Cats Wiskas in my signature. :oops:
I suppose I could run rigid forks and 29" front wheel, not what I have in mind though :wink:

It must be heavier with that shape of side plate though, as it's adding material where you don't need it.
The cross sectional area in the centre of the side plate only needs to equal the area where the pin penetrates it. That's why they're the shape they normally are.
