Just picked this up, done less than 500 miles since new. Totally original apart from the platform pedals.

I'll let the pics do the talking

Bike just needs a polish and a once over with Autosol. The XTR groupset is unbelievable. I won't say how much it cost yet but for a setup like this it was peanuts. Seller was desperate to sell as his car just failed it's MOT and he needed the cash in a hurry. I feel a little bit guilty BUT he did say that he was simply not using it and was glad it was going to a good home. The only thing wrong with this bike is a bit of 'peel' on the rear shock decal.

I'll post some better pics when I get it cleaned up, looks amazing stood along side my Lobo

LOVE THIS! I have been lusting after one of these since I had to "settle" for the XCR 2000 back in 99. V. Jealous - let me know if you ever want to sell. ;)

I remember when Bonthrone was discounting them new for under £2k

I improvised myself bike merchant and found a buyer in France before I bought the bike myself from the shop, cashing in a nice little margin in the process - was still a good deal for him - he came especially by Eurostar to London to pick it up!

I rode the bike from the station back to home, about a mile

This is making me want to buy my friends one rather than sell it for him... must resist!
