I've had to give my rc-200 f8 an overhaul as the alps were a bit much for the wheels (not the frame obviously). I've finally decided to upgrade to discs as i still ride the bike quite heavily (clumsily you could say) and from recent experiences think it makes more sense.

Anyway, just bought some new DT Swiss 240s wheels from Merlin and have already got a front hope mono mini which fits fine. I neee to buy a rear brake ASAP. Does anyone have any suggestions other than anohter mono mini?

Also does anyone know which caliper (no.3, no.5 or no.974) and which (if any) mount i need? There already seems to be a place on the frame...?

Thanks Everyone

Need to know what size discs you want to run before we can tell you what caliper type you need....

Hope c2's . Oldies but goodies. Fit and forget...
No 3 caliper will fit 180mm on the front or 160mm on the rear.
No 5 will fit 160mm on the front or 140mm on the rear. Probably a bit wimpy for the Alps.....
+20 or +40 adapters are available from any good bike shop. :)
